Rowe Hankins Ltd operates as one of the UK’s leading suppliers to the Railway Industry throughout the world. 

We have gained considerable experience within the industry and are a full solutions and services provider with the skills and capabilities to be able to take products from concept stage, right through to end of life, managing all the processes through the whole life cycle on behalf of the customer.

Rowe Hankins Ltd was established in 1986 as a specialist distributor and manufacturer of electro-mechanical components. Since then, the company has established an enviable record in supplying to the traction industry by providing excellent technical services to our customers.

Rowe Hankins Ltd was established in the UK and operates within the traction industry employing approximately 60 personnel. As its markets’ demands grow, so do Rowe Hankins Ltd products and service offerings.

About Us

For over 30 years, Rowe Hankins have been designing and manufacturing Speed Sensors, Non-Intrusive Current Monitoring devices, Intelligent Wheel Flange Lubrication systems and AC and DC Earth Leakage Detection Units.

 

With a global reputation for quality, reliability and innovation, Rowe Hankins experienced engineers have a long and successful track record giving the highest possible level of service to rail projects worldwide.

In addition, we provide electro-mechanical and electronic products service facilities to maintain, overhaul and repair circuit breakers, contractors and on-train monitoring and recording (OTMR) systems.

 

At the forefront of our service facilities is a specialist DC current injection system, capable of 5,000A continuous and ramped current output, extendable to 10,000A. In addition, we have a dedicated circuit breaker tester capable of testing up to 125 Amps and measure trip times down to 1 millisecond.
